SAP GUI (SAP Log on) 7.30 for JAVA is the newest version that Macintosh users can download and install it to their computers. The installation of GUI for Java for MAC users is limited to 64-bit systems due to the requirements for Oracle JDK 7 on Mac OS X.
Other system requirements are;
Download the client installer for your platform (Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Mac) from the SAP Development Tools website under the HANA tab and the SAP HANA Client 2.0 section. Download SAPGUI for Mac - Cross-platform and easy to use GUI client for the SAP R/3 server designed to enable its users to effortlessly access SAP functionality within SAP based apps. Select the “ Mac OS X x64 ” option in the above link. 4) Once the download is complete, install the same on your machine. 5) Download the SAP GUI for JAVA, from sap service market place, download centre by following the below link. A- Z Index SAP Support Portal. 6) Click on the Index “G”. If you do wish to remain in SAP longer than 10 hours, it's a good idea to renew them at least 20 minutes or so before they expire. Ensure Kerberos Extras is installed. Download and install Kerberos Extras. Install Oracle Java 8 JDK. Note: SAPgui 7.40 for Mac requires Oracle Java 8 JDK.
